weekend retreat

here are some pics from our bible study retreat at the sister servants of mary immaculate retreat centre in ancaster. we stayed in a school (nun school?) that may (may not) have been haunted... either way, icons of Jesus, saints, mary, angels haunted every nook, cranny and wall space, which made for frightening trips down the long dark hallway to the bathroom...

we discovered our spiritual gifts and discussed way to apply them, played games (mad gab and headbanz were a huge hit!) went hiking, made cards, snacked, laughed a lot and slept little!

it was such a beautiful weekend!
